Don't let the water run as you clean up in the kitchen, or in the bathroom as you brush your teeth. Use leftover water from water glasses to water the plants, instead of just dumping them out. Shorten your showers; start by just shaving off a few minutes, then gradually decreasing the amount of time you spend in there. Don't shampoo twice, as the shampoo bottles always tell you to do. Remember, their mission is to sell you more shampoo, not save resources. Is your hair really so dirty that it needs a second washing?
